Lassen Grizzlies Defeat Reed Raiders
Lassen Youth Football – Mavericks Division
Saturday, September 9th was the Grizzlies home opener for the Lassen Youth Football League at Arnold Field. I have two grandsons playing this year, so I thought it would be fun to take the camera out and record the action.
Hot weather, a very talented Grizzlies team and a large, home crowd made for a very long day for the Raiders.
Both teams started strong. Each team moved the ball while on offense, but the Grizzlies defense tightened up and finally put a stop to the Raiders momentum. While the Raiders lost their early momentum, the Grizzlies continued much as they started. As a result, the final score was a 40 – 0 blowout victory for Lassen.
